On November 13 and 14, Wanhua Chemical’s subsidiary, BorsodChem, transformed its Kazincbarcika plant in Hungary into a captivating “Wonder Lab,” welcoming over 240 local primary and secondary school students. This unique event celebrated the wonders of chemistry, blending scientific exploration, interactive experiments, and fun-filled games to take the children on a delightful journey of discovery. The factory became a vibrant scientific laboratory for the day, where students donned lab coats and stepped into the shoes of young scientists.
Magic Bottle Experiment: A highlight of the event, this activity used chemical reactions to make liquids magically change colors and form layers, sparking the students’ fascination with chemical principles.
Pipette Race: This seemingly simple competition tested students’ focus and precision, encouraging them to develop hand-eye coordination through scientific experimentation.
Fire Hydrant Challenge: Students learned how to operate fire hydrants in simulated emergency scenarios, enhancing their awareness of emergency response while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
