Wanhua Chemical Has Successfully Held 2023 Supplier Conference

On October 21st, 2023, the Wanhua Chemical Supplier Conference was held in China. Over 1,000 suppliers from all over the world attended this conference. With the theme "Gather for Together", we aimed to explore the sustainable future of the industry with suppliers together. The conference consisted of one main forum and four sub-forums, focusing on sustainable development, joint innovation, digital intelligence, and supply chain services.

At the main conference, not only the development factor and future strategy of Wanhua were displayed, but also the importance of cooperation and innovation was shown to the attendees. Wanhua Chemical upholds the collaboration concept of rapid response and high quality in strengthening strategic partnerships with upstream and downstream suppliers in order to develop a sustainable future.

At the Sustainability Forum, Wanhua Chemical announced that we have enhanced our sustainability strategy in 2023. It has outlined specific actions and set medium to long-term development goals in three key areas: energize green chemistry, create social value, abide by governance principles.

Supplier quality and innovation have been discussed at the Joint Innovation Forum. Wanhua has strict standards for the quality of suppliers and made suggestions for quality improvement and technological innovation at the meeting, including core equipment development, process improvement, and the introduction of new technologies.

The digital transformation of Wanhua has been discussed at the Digital Intelligence Sub-Forum. Our six intelligent platforms have been introduced as well, which are manufacturing, business management, facilities, ecosystem collaboration, collaborative office, and smart decision-making.

Wanhua is also focusing on building an intelligent supply chain in order to make it safer and more efficient. In terms of supply chain services, Wanhua suggests that our supplier needs to build logistics services around cost, efficiency, service, and branding.

During the conference, 12 strategic suppliers directly renewed their cooperation agreements with Wanhua Chemical. Also, the awards were presented to 180 outstanding suppliers from various fields. We look forward to collaborating with more outstanding suppliers to bring greater possibilities to the industry. Together, let us create a sustainable future for all of humanity.
