Wanhua Chemical and Hisense join hands to promote social responsibility programs

Wanhua Chemical and Hisense held the 2018 "Reading, Sea Viewing and World Observing" event yesterday. We came to Qingdao as we promised to the kids last year. It is a covenant with Hisense, with children from the mountains, and of taking our social responsibility.
Wanhua Chemical was there since the first ever Hisense sea viewing event. We actively participate in it. We brought fun chemistry experiments and science courses to  elementary school students this time.
Children from Mayang in Hunan, Taiyang Village in Jiangxi, Huangling in Shaanxi and Chenjiaba in Chongqing- all not so developed areas in China- came to the Wanhua Chemical Wonder Lab. Ms. Huang Haimin, a “tenured professor” of Wonder Lab and retired senior engineer of Wanhua Chemical, came back to offer lively and interesting chemistry lessons to the kids.
“Crazy Bubbles”, “Magic Colors” and ” Gardens in Water”, 3 well-designed small experiments brought curious kids closer to chemistry. Looking at their experimental results, the children felt a sense of accomplishment. We hope that the magical chemistry journey can promote their interest in science in the future.

Wanhua Chemical and Hisense have long-term cooperation and been working hand in hand in public welfare for many years. Hisense Group donates refrigerators to schools that aided by Wanhua Chemical to improve the students' living standards. Wanhua Chemical takes part in “Sea Viewing” initiated by Hisense Group where they invite kids from rural area to Qingdao, contributing to the social responsibility programs. As the initiative units of "responsible care", the two enterprises keep developing at a high speed while continuously practicing corporate social responsibility and devoting themselves to educational welfare undertakings.
In the future, Wanhua Chemical will continue to uphold the concept of "Responsible Care" and work hand in hand with Hisense Group on the road of giving back to society. At the same time, it is our hope that more enterprises and public figures will participate in the construction of a public welfare ecosystem and contribute to the development of education.
